Giving Remedies to Kids, Babies & Pets

Little ones and animals take the same remedies and the same potencies — you just change how you get the dose in.

The Water Method (Easiest for Everyone)

Dissolve 1-2 pellets in a small glass (or bowl for pets) of clean water and stir. One sip or a teaspoon is one dose.

Stir or shake again before each dose. The glass can be kept covered in the fridge for a day or two for redosing if desired. When done, clean thoroughly in the dishwasher with hot, soapy water and dry before reuse or the remedy will remain.

Babies

Give a few drops of the dissolved remedy in water or milk by dropper or spoon into the mouth, or wipe it on the inside of the lip or gums with a soft cloth.

Children

Older children can take pellets popped straight into their mouths. Most enjoy it — they taste slightly sweet. For stubborn moments or for a more subtle approach to care, remedies can be dissolved in drinks.

Pets

Use the same potency as for people. Pellets can be dropped into the mouth or cheek pouch, dissolved in drinking water, put on a treat or mixed in their food.

How Often

Follow the same repetition as on the remedy page, and stop once there is clear improvement.
