A remedy with a marked affinity for the female reproductive tract, especially when menstrual bleeding is heavy, profuse, or prolonged. Helpful when the blood is bright red, clotted, and accompanied by bearing-down or labor-like pains that may extend to the thighs or back. Often indicated when menses are aggravated by motion, jarring, or least exertion.

Suggested dosage

6C every 3 hours; taper as bleeding slows.
