The top remedy for ulcerative colitis and for restoring the gut after antibiotics. Helpful when diarrhea is burning, bloody, or mucous-filled, with constant urging and a never-get-done feeling (tenesmus). Often indicated after repeated antibiotic courses leave the gut raw, inflamed, and prone to loose stools.
