Mercurius dulcis

A specific for eustachian tube catarrh with dull hearing and low-grade ringing, especially in adults with silver amalgam dental fillings or in children with recurrent glue ear or enlarged adenoids after repeated colds. Fluid sits behind the eardrum and will not clear.

- Best for: Catarrhal deafness with a sense of fullness in the ears; worse in damp weather
- Recurrent glue ear following colds, tonsillitis, or adenoid trouble
- Low-pitched ringing with pressure behind the eardrum
