Kali muriaticum

A tissue salt remedy for the middle stage of catarrhal conditions with thick, white, sticky mucus. Especially useful for eustachian tube blockage, glue ear, and hearing loss that follows head colds, when there is a snapping, crackling sensation on swallowing or blowing the nose.

- Glue ear in children with thick white mucus behind the eardrum
- Snapping or crackling in the ear on swallowing or yawning
- Chronic catarrhal deafness with white-coated tongue
Damp weather, rich or fatty foods, motion
Rubbing, cold drinks, open air
6X three to four times daily; reduce as hearing clears.
