Remedy
Hypericum (St. John's wort)
Hypericum perforatum

Known as the 'arnica of the nerves,' Hypericum is used for injuries to parts rich in nerves — fingers, toes, lips, spine, and the head — especially when there is sharp, shooting nerve pain after trauma.
Key indications
- Injuries to nerves, especially fingers, toes, lips, tongue, or eyes
- Shooting or burning nerve pain following trauma or wounds
- Spinal injuries with pain radiating along nerve pathways
- Head injuries with nerve sensitivity
- Pain after dental work or extraction
Worse from
Cold, damp, foggy weather, touch, jarring motion
Better from
Warmth, gentle rest, bending the head back
Suggested dosage
200C every 3–4 hours during acute nerve pain; twice daily for lingering or chronic nerve pains.
General guidance only. 200ck may be substituted for 200C potencies. Stop the remedy upon significant improvement. If no improvement after 2-3 doses in acute cases or after 4-6 weeks in chronic cases, try a different remedy. Consult a experienced practitioner if you feel you need additional help for serious or persistent symptoms.
