Chamomilla (chamomile)
Matricaria chamomilla

The remedy for the sensitive child who becomes irritable and impossible to please when everything feels too much. Irritability arises from heightened sensitivity — to noise, pain, frustration, and being overstimulated. The child may demand things then refuse them, and is only soothed by gentle motion, rocking, or being carried.
Key indications
- Best for: Irritability and anger from oversensitivity; impossible to please
- Demands things, then throws them away; nothing satisfies
- Quiets only while being carried, rocked, or driven
- Extreme oversensitivity to pain, noise, and frustration
- One cheek red and hot; often worse during teething
Overstimulation, teething, night, heat, being contradicted
Being carried, rocking, car rides, mild warmth
